TÍN & ASSOCIATES ACCOMPANIES HO CHI MINH CITY UNIVERSITY OF LAW STUDENTS AT THE “STARTUP & LAW” TALKSHOW

The success of a startup is often driven by two core factors: capital and ideas. Beyond these, legal considerations play a fundamental role in ensuring a company’s stability and long-term growth. Recognizing this, Lawyer Nguyễn Trung Tín, Managing Director of Tín & Associates, participated in the talk show “Startup & Law: Legal Essentials for Entrepreneurs” sharing practical insights and real-world experience with students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law. The program was designed not only to provide legal knowledge but also to create an open and interactive forum where participants could engage in discussions on legal issues closely tied to real-world business operations.

During the talk show, students were introduced to key aspects of starting a business in a structured and practical manner, including selecting an appropriate business structure, understanding business registration procedures, and complying with basic tax obligations applicable to startups. The program also highlighted essential legal considerations in business operations, such as drafting founders’ agreements, protecting trademarks, and addressing key legal issues in capital raising.

Beyond theoretical knowledge, the talk show featured an interactive discussion session, where students had the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the speaker on practical scenarios. Topics such as choosing the right business model, ensuring compliant company naming, determining charter capital, and registering appropriate business lines were discussed in detail, providing students with a clearer and more practical understanding of the startup process.

Through this program, Tín & Associates aims to help students develop legal thinking from an early stage, thereby enhancing their ability to apply legal knowledge in practice. We believe that a strong legal foundation will empower young entrepreneurs to confidently build and grow their own businesses.
