According to the Land Law 2024, effective from August 1, people who want to separate land plots must ensure that the land is not in dispute, has paths, public transport connections, and reasonable water supply and drainage. Specifically, Article 220 of the Land Law 2024 regulates the division and consolidation of land plots, whereby people can separate and combine land plots when the conditions are met.
However, besides new points that are more suitable to reality, there are also regulations that cause difficulties for many localities and people, which creates barriers and bottlenecks in the process of granting, registering, and changing land in many localities.
